If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can return or exchange it within 3 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return the following conditions must be met:
Customers must return the item in its original packaging.
Returns are only accepted in new conditions.
The item must not be opened.
The item must not be used.
The item must not be damaged.
The item must be returned with its original receipt and should never be assembled.
What items cannot be returned?
Once an item has been assembled, it is no longer returnable. Special order products such as items where fabrics & finishes as well as sizes can be selected are non-returnable.
We regret that we cannot accept returns on the following non-faulty products: Items that have been personalized, made to order, or customized in any way. Business to Business contracts. Items that are not in original packaging or have been used. Items that arrive at our facility in a non-resalable condition. Products that have been assembled. All mattress and floor model sale items.
Verbal Agreements: Parnian Furniture insists that any modification to the sales order be made in writing. Parnian will not accept verbal changes or agreements. In some cases Parnian will ask the customer to sign a detail sheet illustrating the custom items to be made for them. Verbal promises or agreements by Parnian associates are not binding.
What if the goods are faulty or damaged?
We do everything we can to make sure your order reaches you in pristine condition. If, however, it should arrive damaged or not working, please report to the carrier at the time of delivery. Any such freight damage must also be noted on the delivery slip, or Bill of Lading, at the time of delivery. Such claims must be taken up with the carrier or delivery service. Parnian insists that each carrier inspect (and sign in good condition) your merchandise at the time the merchandise is picked up, as we are not responsible for damage in transit to you. Parnian may not be able to assist you with a claim and will not be held responsible if the above procedures are not followed.
We are not responsible for any damages not reported at the time of delivery. Delivery must be signed for by the customer or an individual at least eighteen years old that the customer designates to have the authority to sign for the delivery. Before signing for the delivery, please inspect thoroughly for any damage, shortages, etc. In the unlikely event that damage or a shortage has occurred in transit,Parnian Furniture cannot be held responsible and any claim for damage must be filed by you directly with the delivery company. *** Before signing for delivery, you must thoroughly inspect the contents and note any visible damage on the freight bill. If there is damage to the item, note it on the freight bill, reject only the damaged piece, and keep the rest.
Damaged or Defective Merchandise: In the event that merchandise is found to be damaged or defective, Parnian Furniture must be notified immediately. The original cartoning and packaging must be kept and might be required for inspection. Parnian reserves the right to repair or replace the defective item(s). Parnian abides by the industry standard of having the option to repair the item before taking action to replace the item. Parnian may not be able to assist you with a claim and will not be held responsible if the above procedures are not followed.
DELAYS, GUARANTEE, AND PRODUCT VARIATIONS
Delays in production and shipping may occur from time to time. We will work very hard to get your new purchase to you in a timely manner. Delays may occur during busy seasons and holidays, due to production delays, or other factors outside of our control, such as production delay, backorders, shipping delays, war and acts of God. Please keep in mind that we specialize in large furniture items that come from all over the world. We quote accurate lead times and notify all our customers promptly in case of any delays. Please note that we are not responsible for product delays from the manufacturer. Under no circumstances will Parnian Furniture be responsible for any consequential damages resulting in shipping delays. Due to increased security by governments, customs delay may also occur periodically, which is beyond our control. Also note that some of our vendors remain closed during August and portions of December, which results in delays of 2-4 weeks. *** SHIPPING TIMES WE QUOTE ARE ONLY ESTIMATES, NOT GUARANTEES.
Customer’s Own Material (C.O.M.): Parnian can not be held accountable for fabrics supplied to us by the customer and to be sent on to an upholstery manufacturer. Since Parnian did not purchase this from its own vendor, we can not guarantee that it is suitable as upholstery material. The customer agrees that they will pay all shipping costs charged (duties where necessary) to get their C.O.M. to the appropriate factory.
Fabrics or Leather: Parnian Furniture is not responsible for fabrics or leather used in manufacturing upholstery. Parnian will not be held responsible for fabric and leather since we cannot determine the manner in which the upholstery is used. Dye lot differences may occur from samples and pictures to actual product.
Color Variations: No two pieces of wood are identical. Variations in color-tone and grain pattern make a color or pattern match to any given sample impossible. While every effort is made to match wood grain as closely as possible, no two pieces of wood are exactly alike. These variations give wood its beauty and character.
Aging and the Effect of Natural Light: Over time, the natural color of wood tends to mellow. By this we mean the color or tone will change. You may notice that some of the woods may darken over time as others become lighter. This is a characteristic of wood. Parnian cannot be held responsible for variations in wood color and tone due to the effects of UV lighting. Solid wood may also crack over time in certain climates and temperatures.
DELIVERY PROCESS AND EXTRA CHARGES
Packaging (if necessary), delivery/shipping, and installation (if any) are not included in the prices quoted unless written on the face of this Sales Order. A 100% payment is required at the time the order is placed. The balance must be paid prior to scheduling of the delivery
Parnian will inspect all merchandise at the time of receipt and release to ensure that it is in good condition. I understand that Parnian will require the customer or shipping agent to inspect and sign for goods before releasing them to the customer or their agent. I understand that Parnian’s responsibilities related to any shipping, delivery or freight damage cease after shipping or delivery companies receive, pick-up, accept and sign for the items on this sales order in good condition.
Delivery dates are estimates only, and we are unable to accept any liability for failure to deliver the products within the specified time resulting from shipment/delivery delays from our suppliers. Delivery times will be arranged with you in advance. Parnian will provide complimentary storage of merchandise for 14 days from the date of arrival or promise date, whichever comes later. If for any reason you are unable to accept delivery within 14 days from our first call, Parnian is required to store their merchandise, a charge of 0.5% (half of one percent of the total net price) per week will be charged. This storage and insurance charge must be paid in full prior to delivery arrangements until delivery has been completed and are payable prior to final delivery. If there is no one available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, you will be charged for transport and re-delivery costs. You are responsible for ensuring that there is adequate access and entry to your premises to allow delivery of the products. Any additional costs in relation to access to your premises (e.g. crane) are your responsibility. If it is not possible for the products to be delivered to your premises, the products will be returned to our warehouse and you will be invoiced for transportation and re-delivery. In addition, the above storage charges will apply. We reserve the right to make partial deliveries of any order and each partial delivery shall constitute a separate contract in respect of the products delivered on the same condition as set out herein.
The delivery charges quoted for a Parnian delivery or an Outside Delivery service do not include 2nd story deliveries or the hoisting of merchandise from the outside. Parnian does not assume any responsibility or liability should this be required. There will be an additional charge incurred due to inaccessibility of entry. If the customer asks either Outside Delivery services or Parnian employees to move items not on this sales order, there will be additional charges. If there are any damages due to movement and/or handling of items not on this sales order, Parnian will not be held liable in any way. There will be a fee for canceled deliveries that happen within 48 hours of scheduled delivery date and time. The fee will be a minimum $50 rescheduling fee for Parnian deliveries. For Outside Delivery services, their rescheduling fees apply.
If you would rather cancel your order, you may choose from the following. Upon receipt of the return, we will issue a refund, store credit, or exchange at your request. All refunds, exchanges, and store credits are worth 15% less for a restocking fee and actual round trip shipping charges. We are not responsible for any damages not reported at the time of delivery.
What is the refund process for returned furniture?
All returns are subject to round trip shipping charges. All returns for any reason are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Upon receipt of the return, we will issue a refund, store credit, or exchange at your request.
How long will my refund take?
Once the item has been received at our showroom, you will receive an email confirming receipt. After receipt of your goods, we shall inspect the items returned and per them meeting our return policy, we will issue a refund. We aim to issue refunds within 14 working days and will refund the credit/debit card used to make the purchase. Please note refunds take 5 working days to clear from the point of processing. If the above conditions are not met, the Operator reserves the right to reject the return and refund.
In case of item return, the customer will be responsible for paying the cost of shipping.
Refunds on sale items are permissible and subject to the same conditions as refunds on regularly-priced items.
Customers may request an exchange in lieu of a refund. Exchange requests will be processed and accepted or denied.
Customers must contact the Operator prior to the start of the refund and return process. Customers will be provided with a return number before they may begin the return.
Legal Disputes: Parnian Furniture will not be held responsible for any merchandise or services that are not provided by Parnian on the order. Any legal action instituted to interpret or enforce the terms of this agreement or which otherwise arises directly or indirectly, out of the purchase or sale of any merchandise or services described in this sales order shall be venued in the County of Maricopa, State of Arizona. The prevailing party in such action shall be entitled to recovery of its reasonable attorney’s fees and costs in addition to any other recoverable costs.
